Torus. 1,745 entries, no count typed by hand.

Torus is an encyclopedia for the space game X4: Foundations, built on the same design system as simbolik.ai. Nobody commissioned it. I built it to test the system away from home, under dense data.

The Torus logo beside a Xenon H destroyer among asteroids, under its encyclopedia card: the ship's tags, loadout and compare, and its description.

The same system, a different job.

The question

  • A design system only proves itself away from the site it was made for
  • Far more data than a studio site, and tools that compute from it

The build

  • Data extracted from the game's own files, so every count on the wiki is derived, never typed
  • 8 interactive tools on that data: station production calculator, ship loadout, production chain explorer, research planner, equipment browser, ware profit finder, map explorer and compare tool
  • A consistency checker that fails the build on one broken link, or when 2 copies of a fact disagree

Check it yourself.

The wiki is live, and every number above can be checked on it.

Every count across its 1,745 entries is worked out from the game's files, none typed by hand.

I build the design system they need, and set it up so your AI tools can build from it too.
